NonViolent Communication and HR
During this seminar, attendees will learn about the process of Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication and its application to Human Resource issues. The process was created in the 1960s by Marshall Rosenberg, a Jewish-American Psychologist active in the Civil Rights Movement. Today, Compassionate Communication is used across the globe to support human and organizational well-being. It provides effective interpersonal communication skills that improve workplace morale, enhance efficiency, and bolster teamwork, while reducing and/or preventing conflict altogether.
David McCain, a Flagstaff-based trainer/coach/consultant, will bring the process to life with interactive exercises showing how to apply the process in the Human Resource realm.
Participants will:
- • Learn about the core concepts and tools of the Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication Process
- • Explore the various applications of the process in the workplace
- • Gain insight about how the process can improve how feedback is given and received
