There is no shortage of federal and Arizona employment law updates for employers. Join us for a webinar focused on key developments in federal and Arizona employment laws. The speaker, Laura Grubb with Ogletree Deakins will discuss certain areas of interest such as the NLRB’s new joint employer rule, updated overtime exemptions, the FLSA’s new independent contractor rule, the continued war on non-compete agreements, Pregnancy Workers’ Fairness Act, and more.
Laura Grubb is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Phoenix office, where she advises and represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. She has appeared before federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals, and administrative agencies on behalf of employers in a wide variety of matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of employment agreements, and additional issues under the American with Disabilities Act and Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Laura regularly advises clients on implementation of employment practices and policies, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence and accommodation requests, employee separations and reductions-in-force. She also assists clients with internal investigations and training related to employment issues.
